Smt Sekhar performed at the Classical Evening organised by The Tamil Society of Melbourne on June 11, 2005. At the concert Smt Sekhar was presented with the "Arumuga Navalar Award" for the Distinguished Services Rendered to the Tamil Community of Victoria, Australia. View images >>
- Dancing in the Flames
Smt Sekhar was in the Tony Hynes production featuring singers from diverse cultural backgrounds presented by Grand Union Orchestra on May 21, 2005 at the Malvern Town Hall. Smt Sekhar lead the choir in Tony Haynes production and sang "Bho Shambho", Thillana "Thana Deem tha Thirana" with Adrian Sheriff on mridangam and another repertoire with the clarionet soloist Fiona. Earlier, Smt Sekhar taught the songs "Bho Shambho" and Thillana to the 30 enthusiastic singers during the specially organised workshop sessions. View images >>
- Tamil Women's Achievement Concert
Smt Sekhar was honoured at the concert organised by the Tamil Australian Friendship Society on March 13, 2005 in recognition of her achievements and service to the community. Some of her senior students also performed at this concert. View images >>
- Chennai Music Festival 2004
Smt Sekhar performed at the Krishna Gana Sabha on December 17, 2004. She was accompanied by Kalyani Sankar on the violin and Mudhra Bhaskar on the mridangam. She was also interviewed by All India Radio - Mumbai on the demise of one of our greatest musicians Smt M S Subbulakshmi.

- Chennai Music Festival 2003
Smt Sekhar performed at several prestigious sabhas including at the Music Academy, the Narada Gana Sabha, Kapali Fine Arts, Bharath Kalachar, Hamsadhwani, and Mylapore Fine Arts. Kala Kruthi students, Sakthi Ravitharan, Gayatri Ganesh and Nikthi Rajagopal, also performed at the Hamsadhwani Sabha during this time. Sakthi Ravitharan also performed under the auspices of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Ramani’s Academy of Flute (RAF) during the festival.
